is there a way to use a flash drive as ram for as slower computer that only has say 256mb of ram?

i ask because my computer was given to me extremly outdated and has only 256mb of ram so even small online games criple the computer so i was wondering if there is a way to increase the ram with a flash drive sence i dont have any money to get more ram kinda dirt poor hence the use of an outdated computer.

im pretty sure the answer is know but if i can increase ram for free then i would try most anything as long as it dont ruin my system

Yes. If you use Vista or Win7 you can use Windows Readyboost.
