Is There Any Software To View Streaming Usb Videos?

I have all sorts of hardware that changes a composite to video, and video to USB. This would be a nifty app for my computer.

 

You can use VLC player.I use it to stream from my desktop onto discord.

As it happens I already had VLC installed. I'm still not sure how to use it to receive a USB stream and show it live?

 

Just out of curious though...What is it you mean by USB Stream...Are you saying you want to watch movies from a USB option.

Showing it live should be in the video above i think all you need to do is copy and past the video from a usb device to vlc and than go from there with the above video.Been a min since i used vlc.

How do you plan on live streaming movies???There are options out there.VLC and discord go well.You can live stream through the discord option.Let me see if i can find that video.

 

It is a heck of a lot easier to switch USB signals around to my computer then HDMI. Turns out converters are very easy and common on Amazon. I have some very good DVR software in the form of OBS( open broadcast studio) it does a really nice job of making video files for the computer. Of course I can always play the recorded file on the computer, would I would like to be able to watch this signal real time. I have not found the option in VLC to do this can I have a query with the software developers on OBS to see if there is a way of doing this using that software. The camera software in Windows 10 environment almost does it it's the audio that gives me fits.
