Is there anything wrong with either of these?

I am going to buy a video card and a gig of ram, but I just wanted to check it over with some people to make sure that I am not being an idiot. People on this site seem to be very helpful, so I guess I just wanted to see what you thought.

The price limit on a video card for me is probably about $250. All i know is that I want something that can play Doom 3 without any problems. I want 250mb video card and a PCI Express card, but other than that I don't know too much. So here is the one I found:

As for the ram, I want at least 1 Gig, but I don't want to spend a whole lot. I know there are cheaper out there but I have heard that Corsair are good quality. If you can get a better gig for less, please let me know.
