Is there some software or method of restore work

is it possible that there is
some such method or software through which
we can restore work running on the computer in case
light is gone or computer is switched off accidently .
as,e.g., firefox restore session in case it closes accidently.

The only program I know of that has Data Safe Technology is Memory Zipper Plus.

It's not free, about 19 bucks.
