I'd look around a bit longer, some of the things are a bit "stingy". No firewire, no monitor, no dvd burner, hardly any software.

If and when you buy, do yourself a favour and make sure it comes with a Windows CD, not a recovery CD or a partition, but a proper Windows CD.

Before you buy, ring their support number and see how long they put you on hold for if at all.

I might ask if you have any parts left over from your failed system build? .. like a CD drive those are easy enough to install

also I like their Raidmax A8 case, but whatever you want more personal opinion than anything else ... and I'm not too sure about the 6800LE but I guess if you want to cut corners pricewise

You might enjoy it more if you build it yourself?
And you will know how to take care of your system long after the warranty expires. And the free softwares are wortless. You would have to spend extra for the os and the monitor.

I am in agreeance... for 839 bucks I am wondering where all that is coming from given the components... with no monitor or OS and those details it seems kinda pricy. I say that I guess mainly because I KNOW if you built your own computer for that same price you could have a much better system but that's your preference call.. I don't see enough wrong with this 839 buck system though to flat out say no way don't do it. Just little things that may be a hassel down the road like the firewire, OS, ect. but again, definatly not enough for me to shoot down the thing... the main thing that you'll have goin for you with this case and such is that should you get it.. it will be pretty upgradable so you can always change what you don't like after a year or so (finance depending of course ;)) so... that's my input... any more questions let me know

if you got all those components from newegg.com it would add up to about 750$ or so ... so you aren't getting ripped considering they are building it for you

Is the AMD® Athlon-64 3000+ CPU w/ Hyper Transport Technology same as the
    Athlon 64FX?
The FX is suposed to be the best

Maybe the same components from newegg are about the same, but if I was buying or building I wouldn't be getting the same components.

There are better motherboards that would offer more, as well as some of the other components.

So, no you aren't really getting ripped off, but you are not getting the best deal for your money either.

    I'm sorry, but I don't do messenger.

Unless off-course you are female, uninhibited and have a webcam. (webcam is negotiable)

And please don't put yourself down like that and call yourself names, let me do it. :)

What I would suggest is to find a motherboard with an nForce 3 Ultra chipset or even better is an nForce 4 chipset motherboard.

That combined with an AMD 64 3800+ or similar will give you the fastest available current platform for the specs.
