Are you trying to replace your original HP motherboard if so it is a good one they always know the best for their PC's.

yes these are some of the good points:

Expansion slots Three PCI
One PCI Express x16 graphics

Front usb and firewire are also good.

Nvidia chipset is also very nice.

I may get it tonight but not sure lol. Yeah i say its a good deal for a AMD Athlon 64 X2 3800+ and 1 GB of ram but does not come with a mounter WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA lol

 

Hi. I have a fairly new hp pc with a 64x2 in it. The newer hp/compaq pcs like the one you mentioned seem to be ok. My problem is with hp support. I don't have any confidence in them. A lady posted here recently, saying she had a problem with a dvd burner in a new hp laptop, and they said they would send her a new burner, but they wouldn't install it, and she said it should have been covered under warranty. They basically were trying to orphan her. Pretty crappy, I think. Anyway, register the damn thing asap, and keep your receipts and other documentation.
