Is this a good power supply?

    http://www.y-intl.com/Item.cfm?ID=2521 MUSTIFF 800WATTS now i do not know anything bout voltage but does it add up to 800 watts or is it just a advertising gimmick
    asus am3 motherboard
    amd phenom x4 940 3.0ghz 125watts
    western digital black hardrive 1tb
    4gb ram
    ati 5750 1gb xfx
    a dvd drive,no floppy drive ,

    Yes, the watts add up but it lacks in quality. If you will not upgrade in the future as in getting a second video card or moving up then a quality 500W PSU will last you forever. Here's an Antec Earthwatts 500W. Yes, it costs more but it won't crap out on you either. One gets what one pays for in this case.

    That PSU is garbage very low quality.

    Get a good quality PSU

    Antec, Corsair, or OCZ is what I would suggest for you to buy.

    Always remember the PSU is the heart of the PC and if it decides to go crazy it can take a lot of other expensive parts with it.

    As suggested spend a little more and buy a quality PSU, you will not regret it.
