Is it safe to submit a credit card # to this site? I have never heard of it and it looks kinda crappy. It doesn't seem to professional so I don't know wether to trust it or not.

 

I thought your parents didn't allow the using of their credit cards over the internet, splitt3r?

 

Caution is always warrented w/ credit cards on line. I would suggest doing a google search on that site name and see if anyone has anything negutive to say about it, this is just one step , one idea.

 

well, not if it is a shady website like newegg but if it is something important like this then they can consider it

I was being sarcastic about the "shady" thing although it seems if it is something I am interested in it is too risky but if it is something my parents are interested in it is worth the risk.thats the way they see it.

I guess, as it is your parents' credit card/computer etc, you have to respect their decisions, even if you do think it sucks

The site your mom is interested in comes up as green on Siteadvisor, so if she takes the sensible precautions when using credit cards over the internet, and as Erico suggests, does a little background research, she should have no problems

Yep. Probably has something to do with it being their credit and money.

I understand ya being peeved about the vid. card, though. But at least you got a decent one.

Personally, I don't give out credit Nos. on-line at all, unless the transaction is covered by insurance.

 

ditto Splitt3r's last info . I just want to say that i admire your concern about your parents credit card at age 14 . Carring is a part of any safty too.

Phone this number and tell them you wanna cancel your account see how easy it is,looks just like a teachers website that wanna charge you,instead of offerring specific product for a set price,they offer you lots of little 'quirks' that by glancing over looks like your getting alot,but when you dig deep you get alot of nothing,most of it looks just like links to products you will have to buy anyway

 

if it looks too funny and improper in your view(s) its best to just move on . There are too many good and safe sites on the internet to settle for one you dont trust or know anything about. Just try another site , its not the only site that sells teacher supplies and goods.
