Hi, My question is whether the actual ISDN and Analog cables are physically the same and just use different ends , or whether they are entirely different. If the same it should be a fairly simple to swap from one to the other, if not it'll be too expensive.

We are just about to move into a new house where the previous owners had ISDN everything. The monthly cost for this is about double so we would prefer to stick with Analog, but we will have to change all the connections.

Should be the same. ISDN is just a Integrated Services Digital Network, which meant they had both Digital (ie Broadband), and Analog (ie POTS). Works the same as DSL. The only thing that would still maybe be at the house is the ISDN box that was installed by the Teleco, unless it was removed.
