What Windows version and Service Pack are you using?

Is there any makers name or model code on the device? may help in tracing its maker and drivers.

I do have a driver for this type of generic device for XP or Vista, if you let me know the Windows version you are using I will attach or host the file for you to download, but many of these generic devices while have that name do need the original drivers that came with it so the ones I have should work but dont be supprised if they dont.

The file is here and unzip, as its not an automatic setup installer file but the manual .inf variety, you will have to open up Device Manager and locate the yellow ! mark for the unknown or WiFi hardware device and double click it to open Properties up > click Driver tab and click Update Driver, then choose No not at this time > Next > Install from a List or Specific location > Next and browse to the unzipped folder you downloaded above.

Is this Windows 7 x64 or x86?
What is the make and model of Bluetooth device you have? (do look for ID codes on the device as this may help trace drivers)

I have as listed the Vista one and that may work with Win7 but you'd have to test it yourself, the link above is still live for now.

Yes things do get tricky with no branded name hardware, just a thought, when you plug this device in and look in Device manager, are their any unknown devices listed (or a bluetooth one)?

If so then double click it and then choose the Details Tab, then in the Property dropdown choose Hardware Ids and hightlight and copy all the text in the value box and paste it into a notepad file and save it, then attach as per HOW TO: Attach Items To Your Post

The Hardware Ids text may give me a clue as to the devices origins, longshot but never know.
