I had a Fake alert trojan, my son turned on the computer and allowed it to run.
I followed the removal instructions ( Read and Run first). It appears to be gone, but I cant bring up any thing to do with yahoo. My system is XP pro service pack 3 and browser is IE 7. When I tried to update yahoo or the browser. the download site says I have Vista and fire fox and cant update. how do I fix this?

What happened to them? There is nothing I can do to detect any remaining malware without logs. Otherwise, you need to post in The Software Forum about your problems.
