I also have stuff that I know is on my computer that DOESN'T come up to be removed... if you remember this is the exact same topic that was made here b4 by a member i tried all the stuff and nothing worked... i think this happened when i tried to update to service pack 3 xp home and the power went out...

is there anything that you guyes can think of that will work? im going to try the system restore again... i really need help

Has it been uninstalled and just left on the list?

Have you looked to see if those programs have their own uninstallers in the program file?

There are plenty of uninstallers in the downloads section, I don't use one...never had the need, but if you search for uninstallers in the forum you will come up with favorites.

A workaround is to install Revo Uninstaller 1.71 at http://majorgeeks.com/Revo_Uninstaller_d5706.html

Beware, it is very powerful. Especially if you use Feature #4 to really delve into the depths of your Registry. I would advise backing up your Registry before using Revo, particularly for first time users of it. Bazza

PS: It wll also display icons from programs you have probably forgotten you have installed, and never used again or recently used.
