Issues with Contacts and Outlook 2007

Got new Dell and I imported my contacts to Outlook 2007 through my HP PDA.
The details are visable when going into contacts but when I create a new email and attempt to add a contact it does not allow me to select.
If I add a contact manually, the same thing happens.
Any suggestions?

 

o.k. a bit confused. You are trying to add a contact and you are getting an error perhaps? A screenshot of what you are seeing would help too please. thanks!

 

Sorry for the confusion.
When i transferred all my contacts from my PDA they all came across without any issues but when i create a new email and try to select from my contacts there is no option to add them.
I thought it may have been something to do with the transfer so i added a contact manually without error, but again when attempting to select them in the <to> field, i can see the contacts but no option to add them.
