Issues With On Screen Magnifier

On screen magnifier is prone to freezing whenever another program decides to crash like the crash prone program flash. It doesn't really seem to matter if the program has nothing in common or anything to do with the on screen magnifier as even a game suddenly crashing has caused the onscreen magnifier to freeze. Simply trying to bring it up from being minimized also sometimes causes it to freeze. I think at this point i need to replace it because i'm getting tired of these stupid problems. I don't need anything fancy just something that is free and does the same thing as onscreen magnifier without the freezing issues.

 

Every single time you request help on this forum you must always, without exception, say what the Operating System is on the device you are having a problem with.
People are not mind readers and they can't assume it's even the same system you have posted about before.

 

Sorry about that i was kind in a rush. I do need something to replace the crappy windows 10 stuff though. I honestly think i may have to replace most of the microsoft based software with far better coded stuff cause it seems like i've been having one problem after another with windows 10. Never had half as many problems with win xp or vista for that matter even 7 and 8 never gave me problems. I'd stop using windows if i could find a different operating system that could play all the same games as it in a heartbeat. Sadly i'm kinda stuck until then.

Honestly speaking microsoft's quality has seemingly dropped off in recent years and when they do make something of quality it is difficult to use or get used to using. I did fix some of my problems with win 10 by turning off a couple of unnecessary service i didn't need like support assist and the one service that allows me to sign into my computer with a microsoft account which i do not have both of which were constantly pestering me.

 

The only thing I can suggest is to run the System File Checker to rule out system problems causing difficulties with the inbuilt on-screen magnifier.

You can also do an internet search for alternatives but I don't see many.

 

That may be the case since whenever i go to use on screen keyboard for anything the window i was previously on comes to the front for no reason other than to annoy me. Either way i may still need to use alternatives. I have tried finding alternatives uon the internet but google as usual is of no help giving me results i don't need or stuff that i don't want.

 

It seems i was right there were no integrity violations found by the console. This means my only option is to replace windows junk with something that isn't horribly broken. The more i use microsoft's stuff the more i wish there was a proper alternative to them. for a gamer windows is really the only option i have as most games are compatible with it as even with compatibility stuff like wine for linux most games stil won't work under it. so i'm stuck until either microsoft cleans up their act and makes quality stuff again which is unikely in the near future if ever, or someone else comes up with an os for gaming which is just as unlikely to happen.

 

Maybe post on a Gamer forum to see how they deal with the issue.

 

It has nothing to do with video games. All i know is when adobe crashes and as we all know it loves to do so i get huge lag on my computer. It only lasts for a few seconds but that is generally what causes it to freeze. Course if we find out wat causes that, maybe it won't be such an issue. All i know is my cpu doesn't jump sky high nor does memory usage. Some games that crash can cause the huge lag as well but adobe seems to do it every time.

 

I must have totally misread you as I read you were talking about it in the context of gaming

Have you tried to get help at a Linux forum for getting the games to run successfully under WINE? I know someone who runs Linux and takes great delight in getting Windows-based games to run under Linux and he can't be the only one out there. I doubt Windows 10 has slowed those people's enthusiasm for making the 'impossible' into possible.
