issues with screen saver and game controller

ok so i got a logitech dual action controller for my b-day back in august the only problem is that when im playing my games my screen saver kicks on is there a way to prevent this as its not reading the controller as direct input as it would the mouse or the keyboard and thus is causing it to go into screensaverin the middle of my games which is a real pain

 

If you don't want to turn your screen saver completely off, I would just set your screen saver to only kick on after 2 or 3 hours of inactivity. Just right click your desktop and go to properties to change this.

If it is really important to you to keep the screen saver the way it is, you could download software that allows you to make macros. That way, you can hotkey a specific key on your keyboard to turn the screen saver on and off. It is pretty easy to do manually, though.....

 

ya i keep screen saver because i have siblings that would jump on my computer and try using it the second im away from keyboard so its set to password on resume so im wondering is there a way to make it read the controller as direct input?
