It is SOOOO sickening....another scam!!!!

Got an e-mail today...it appears as though somebody is trying another phishing scam!!! I say another...it could have been around for awhile, but today is the first I've seen or heard of it!!

Fortunately alot (i would like to hope) of us are quick enough to catch on!!! But then I stop and think about how many people fall for this at any given time!!!! If you could just get your hands around the neck of those that are causing all this ruckus!! And at the same time...you can sit down with a computer illiterate person and spend hours explaining to them every possible do/don't in the most dumbed down language possible...and then they (some of them) will turn around and dive right into hell!!!!

Well you showed us, did you send this citi too, maybe they haven’t see it……wobbles

 

Yup...went to citi.com and they had a specific place to go to report thes things, then I also reported it to spam@uce.gov!!!!

The citi.com site was interesting!! They had a whole bit on phishing scams, how to avoid getting scammed, etc., etc!! You can even see all the examples of previous scams that have been reported to them!!!!

No I don't do ANYHTING with them!! That was kind of the first dead giveaway that it was a scam...being that I got the e-mail!!

But once again...like I was saying earlier...some people wouldn't even catch onto a slap in the face like what I just stated above!! And as ignorant (notice I didn't say "stupid") as some may be...I hate to see any innocent person ruined like that because those a$$holes out there that are destined to take a good thing and ruin it!! But...I guess you'll get that anywhere anytime!!

I've been getting similar stuff from "banks" I don't even bank with for years now when I was in the UK.

This crew need to learn to spell "upgrade"....typos in these things are always a dead giveaway.

 

Same here, there are 3 or 4 different ones that we get from banks we don't have accounts with. Not to mention the ebay and paypal ones, too.

I always chuckle at the spelling errors too.
