It snowed!

Woke up to snow this morning. You don't see this a lot in the city here. How's it down there with you Mankind?

Apparently the worst is yet to come later today..they got it wrong (suprise suprise!) and the cold weather hasn;t even hit us yet as the storm slowed down.

 

We're cold now. -17C and dropping. Looks like we're done with the snow for now.

 

Or is Peeps looking at the empty bird feeder longingly

 

Guess we're not the only ones getting it this year. I am sick and tired of it here. Prob won't get to 8 above on Sat and about -5 to -8 at nite. Did I mention I am sick and tired of winter.

Lev, when you get a good amount in an empty parking lot like you show, that is a great way to relearn how to drive in the stuff again. Barrel across and throw the wheel one direction and slam on your brakes. After 8 or 10 times you relearn how to control the sliding and correct. After a while you will not even touch the brakes again, as you by instinct will have the "feel of the road".

I spent 17 yrs in snow country. I do NOT miss it.
