Italian knowledge please :(

    OK, so I forgot to do a small essay for Italian, due in Friday. I said I'd done it and left it at home :rolleyes:.... I need to hand it in tomorrow.

    I'm not asking for anyone to do it obviously, just some pointers or links to any sites that could give some help.

    The subject is "Describing my town".

    Do you have to write about an actual Italian town or is this a ficticious work, as if you havnt been to an Italian town then talking about one would be hard?

    and is this to be written in Italian? .... could you write about your town/village in Italian.

    My town/village yes and has to be written in Italian. I think I'm almost there, but not sure how much sense it makes :D

    Questa forkette es sporco. Posse averne una polita! (sp?)

    I went to Italy once on a school skiing trip. We all learnt the same phrase above and one-by-one drove the waiter nuts one evening at dinner ;)

    Of course you could always get up in class and wave your hands wildly and gesture quite a bit, mumble a few Italians words and call it an oral essay on Italian.;)

    Google translates that as: "This forkette es dirty. Posse to have of one polita!"

    and
    as: "Much good ones"

    Needless to say a computer translator only does half the job...
