ITBarLayout.........help please

hi, i have spybot search and destroy installed on my pc, a box keeps popping up with the following

category-user specific browser toolbar
change-value added
entry-ITBarLayout

no matter how many tmes i deny the action, the box just keeps popping up over and over, can anyone tell me what this is and how to remove the problem, i run windowsxp media centre editon, thankyou in advance, confused juicy

It sounds to me like you may be using Spybot's Teatimer to actively block changes that are trying to be made to the ITBarLayout. When you answer the pop-up dialog from Teatimer with Deny change, you also should tell it toRemember this decision. This means that Teatimer will always automatically deny the change now. This information is stored in a file that TeaTimer uses to automatically Allow or Deny changes.

Actually it would be better if you determine who/what is trying to make this change and then decide if you want to allow it or deny it.

thanks for the reply chaslang, i have noted your suggestion, for some reason the box has stopped popping up for the moment, if it continues at any time i will follow your instructions, have you any idea what this item could be, good or bad, maybe i should google it and see what i find, thanks again, juicy

It could be anthing! Even a valid program trying to change a toolbar. The only way we can get a better idea of what is going on on your PC is for you to run this Sticky thread READ & RUN ME FIRST Before Asking for Support and attach all the requested logs. But you will note that in this sticky thread we specify that Spybot's Teatimer must be disabled.
