It's Carnival Time again

    Yes it's the Somerset Carnival season.

    For those who don't know this is a seroies of nightime carnivals processions of illuminated floats. The biggest ones have 30 thousand plus (yes) light bulbs. The culmination is Bridgwater Carnival in 2 weeks. This is believed to be the largest event of this type in the world.

    Hey that looks cool! It sure beats the 3 lorries and the fire engine we get during our carnival :-D weather was a wash out for us to....so the day was a no goer....I was glad not to be out and about being hit from all angles by the kids throwin tuppences at the floats LOL

    :cry now I am not only sick but homesick. I used to love Carnival time in Taunton; stood outside Starbucks sipping hot chocolate waiting for the first of the procession to come through.
