It's Done (I think) critique please

My friend had a website made for thier new business. Unfortunately the web people never really finished the site. I took it over awhile back and have directly or indirectly fixed and added features and functions to make it work. I have more to do probably, but as of tonight I feel it functional.

It would be a great honor if all the geeks out there would ops test the site and give blunt feedback. (I'm thickskulled) My concerns are does it dispay properly, do the click work properly, and even theme and wording to a lesser degree.

I still need to ad more to the affiliate pages as I want even beginners to be able to hook in. I will most likely make a tutorial this weekend. The tutorial will cover things getting ftp software and anything the almighty gurus here think appropriate.

This is the site that I have been working on, aphrodisiabeverage.com. Mind you I am fairly new to html, and cannot figure out dreamweaver or frontpage. My personal website is rather simple and eventually I will work on it more.

 

Everything seems to work, I may order some for me and Cindy, but don't tell her, it'll be a surprise!!

 

Let me know if you have any questions on Frontpage. I am a bit of an expert with it.

it actually makes me consider that maybe a functional purpose really DOES exist for the color pink. I hate pink, but you made it look good. great job.

minus a few missing "s all it really points to are missing ALTs... and those arent required, and a few character language discepencies... but they dont actually show up when i load the page.

 

they are required... standards compliancy. but I think what she is referring to is that all you need is ALT="" , no text necessary.

Great Feedback, Thanks. I have someone else who is going to proof read the whole thing, but doesn't know anything about html. If something isn't working though he will point that out.

@evil I need to see how FP works. I really don't know if it can do what I need. It should. On my other site I need to make like 100 pages and stay within the look of the site. Lot's of photo resizing, tables, sortof like a photo album but not to be veiwable without being linked in.

@Wenchie- Pink is a dragon color too The missing "s, not sure of what you mean, but if it is and image link, I had pictures that were showing as red x's. I need to find what was there and get a picture loaded to the files and then I will just ad the g so the browser can know what to do.

@Kodo. I went to that site and in the line entry aphrodisia was already there, how did that happen? I'm not sure how to do that but will try later.

Nothing along the bottom of the pages worked, I would get 404 errors. Also alot of links would not work throughout the pages, still some that need changing I think. Some pictures would not display.

They had used the cgi-bin, but for what purpose I have no idea. I had to move everything around and redo all the html on every page. I don't know if I could have change a style sheet to do this, but OH well.

8:00 and I'm awake (almost) this is unheard of. Big day, big weekend, It's sure good to be busy.
