It's FRIDAYYYYYYY! C'MON

I haven't started a Friday thread in ages, and as this is a special weekend I thought I would! My daughter and son-in-law will be having their first baby sometime between tonight and Saturday night! How do we say "excited''?

So, what are you guys up to this weekend?

 

A few beers tonight with some friends and tomorrow I might tryto get round to fixing that desktop that's been sitting there on my floor for the past four months!! I'd better get it done because I've promised it to an old friend who is in need of a newer PC than the one she already has.

 

Woooo weekend!!!

Beer and parties! Plus I finish my job on sunday and go on a 3 month break from it!

I am doing a whole lot of nothing tonight. Tomorrow I am going to a lan party with some friends and fly my geek/freak flag high.

 

I am off for the week ahhhhhhhh. My friday afternoon will be spent.with a pickup full of garbage and scrap to go to the dump.... (get to dig thru all the goodies at the recycle town)

Making a large pitcher of sun tea and reading a good book on the back deck in the sun with the stereo cranked.. all weekend

 

Gonna go see 300 @ IMAX w/some buds :cool ...

Practice the ole BAss Guitar go a few hours, gearing up for the weekend warriors gig:cool

Maybe grab an Ex-lrg pizza tonight just to kick this weekend off in the right direction...

Congrats, Lev! I am expecting a like event sometime in the middle of August - my son and his wife are expecting.

It's good to be the dad - but it's even better to be the grand-dad!!

My weekend will be spent at work. My days off rotate about, as I work a 5 on, 3 off shift.

Congrats Lev, Grandkids are great.............Mainly because you can spoil them rotten, then promptly give them back to the "Brat", that for the past six months has been telling you that they will do so much better than you did as a parent...........Then five years later, they are "Asking" for your advise on what to do!!!!!!........Then some years later when the "Great Grandkids" arrive you will become "The Wise One" who has "All" the answers, but some how have forgot exactly why you were heading to the "Bathroom"LOL .............Hey enjoy ever minute Lev, and take it from one who has been there, it just gets better and better.........Famous Saying "Parenting is great, Grandkids are better, but dang it Great Grandkids are a "Parents" (and too soon for me at least) greatest hour. Two of ours are due this summer, and somehow "Great Grandad" has lost his walker, think our TimW stole itLOL
