It's not a problem with AdBlock Plus

    I think the problem exists with MG itself. The owners have made it so that MG will not accept AdBlock Plus on their site. I used to be able to view Way Off on the MG DL page. But no longer. Must be they (MG) need ad revenue.

    Can't run a web site without income. If it is a problem, use IE. Or add MG"s to your Adblock white list. The owner's didnt do anything, it is how Ad-block is configured, not how MG's configured Ad block. The problem is with Ad-Block!!

    I just configured AdBlock to allow everything on MGs. I've heard that the owners are good about not allowing nasty things on their site, so I figured it would be safe. ;)

    Plus, they need revenue to keep this place running. As much as I hang out here, I might as well contribute in what little way I can.

    I was curious and puzzled because I couldn't see the "Way Off Base" listings on the MG DL site today, but I could 3-4 days ago. I looked in AdBlock Plus and saw that the subscriptions had been updated 7-02-10. That probably explains it.

    In preferences of Adblock Plus there is a line in Filter Rules that has

    majorgeeks.com##a[target="_blank"]

    If you remove the checkmark then all the links you give to people will show.
