It's Too late isn't it.

What is actually ironic about this is the fact that a fair majority of the persons involved have at very least a comfortable financial upbringing. It's more expensive to send your kids to this school than the other schools in the area.
They also have to have a fairly expensive uniform.
My boy wanted to go to this school at one point, we refused based on the hypocrisy of none of us being Catholic and the fact he only wanted to go because his friend did. Having said that we simply couldn't afford to send him there anyway, turned out for the best as it goes lol

So as Phantom said it's simply a matter of tuition in life skills. Most of the parents involved I'm sure would argue the case with the reason their kid has all these nice things such as phones etc is because both parents work full time.
I hate this excuse, my girl works 45 hours per week, I work between 54-58 per week.
We did fine.
This is obvious since the kid keeps coming home and eating my food! :-D

It is simply bad parenting, this is not illegal nor can it be controlled. I think only a realisation will change it.
It would make sense though that a child who is lavished upon with products and possessions but basically ignored emotionally would seek attention elsewhere.
Thus comes the cry of the adolescent male in text form, the most convicing form of communication since it is a chameleon and can often be comprehended any way you wish.

Ok that's a little deep lol, anyway I'm sure you get my point :-D
