itunes help

Hello all

I keep my music on an external. I recently bought a bigger external moved my music to it. I used the "add new folder to library" to reflect the new location of my music. Now in itunes there are 2 copies of every song. One of the copies does not work because it is from the original location of the music.

Could someone please tell me how to get rid of the old and only keep the correct one?

I didn't necessarily create a library, I dont think. I keep all of my music in a folder on my external. When I got itunes, I simply used "add folder to library", that folder being the one that holds my music. when I moved music to the new hard drive, i had to do the same thing for the new folder.
