iTunes is being weird.

Two current problems in iTunes:

1. When I try to scroll using the mouse wheel, the screen scrolls left to right instead of top to bottom. This is annoying and useless. I would prefer to see the next song, not the number of times I have listened to the current song or the last date I listened to it.

2. When I left click on a track I would like to play, iTunes highlights every single track inbetween the current track and the one I have just left-clicked. When I double click, nothing happens. This means I have to do a lot of fancy keyboard-work to choose the songs I listen to. This is not what I want for my life.

Any suggestions.
