    Hey Geeks, whats happening?!?

Just got a new HP laptop for my graduation gift and I wanna be able to transfer and listen to music on my Ipod.
Only problem is, all of my songs and files are on my desktop...and although i know i could just re-rip all of the music i have to the laptop, i don't have all of the cd's that I use too.

So i was wondering if there is any safe, free or inexpensive software out there that will transfer Itunes songs, to MP3. Or any software that will take the music and videos I already have on my Ipod, and copy it to my laptop...Ipod to computer software.

Any other ideas and comments are always appreciated.....

    you guys are the sweetest!!!

    JakeD ;)

I have a generic ipod and i just plug it into the pc via USB and it shows as a storage device then just find the music/video/picture directory on your ipod and copy and paste to your PC's folder, i think real ipods have some kind of weird format though
