I've done it all!

    Hey,
    I've been experiencing really slow IE.
    I removed IE 7, and works a little better, but still really slow.
    And will not sign me out of hotmail?
    I did all the steps and here are my attachements.
    Also, what free anti virus do you recommend? My problem is setting them properly.

    Well Renee, I'm happy to tell you that your problems are not due to malware. I suggest you post in the Software Forum and try to describe your problems in more detail. Like when are things slow. Is it always slow? Is it slow in safe mode? How does FireFox work versus how IE works? ....etc.

    I also suggest you do the below to get the proper Sun Java version installed.

    Uninstall the below old versions of software:
    J2SE Runtime Environment 5.0 Update 11

    Make sure you reboot after uninstalling the above!

    After reboot, now install the current version of Sun Java from: Sun Java Runtime Environment
