"I've WON! or have I ?"

Went to Majorgeeks.com to do some downloading and BLAM - I am hit with a blinking 'confirmation number' as todays major winner of (3) holiday packages for a total of 4 people !!

I phoned the vendor / promoter; www.sunkissedtravel.com
They say I get?
Orlando -5 days and 4 nights
Daytona -3 days and 2 nights
Ft Landerdale -3 days 2 nights
Plus a 7 day 6 night Bahama cruise.( this last one, only if I pay the $1000 within next 20 hours)

They say 'all' I am required to pay is the "Tax" = approx $1000. US!
As I am half way round the planet in New Zealand, it would cost a big heap in air fares.
Ho hum -what do you think guys?

 

I'm always leary of those kind of things!!!!! Maybe check with the BBB for the area that Sun Kissed Travels is in!! They might be able to help you more!!

IMO...if it's too good to be true...then it probably isn't!!!! However...being that they let them advertise on MG...they might be able to confirm that it is legit!!?? I don't know...but it might be worth a shot to e-mail them and see what they say!!

A poster from another forum (he also WON!), indicates Sunkissed have issues with the Better Business Bureau:

- and the fact they require your money BEFORE sending out any 'package' information, should be enough to zip the wallet closed real quick!

 

If the bbb report shows any negativity AT ALL...then your best bet is to run...which you've obviously already figured out!!!!!!
