JakeD is back!!!!!!!!

Hey Geeks.....
hey I finally get to sit down and talk to my fellow geeks again!!! wow it's been a while!!!! Sry i'd couldn't keep u guys up to dat eon the season....i've just been so busy with all this college stuff!!!! Driving me right up the wall!!!!!! But i'm back!!!!!

But on the Season.....First game was an embarrassing, first half we played terrible.......after i gave my team a "lovely" halftime speech....we came out and played some football!!! It was a good game for me, i had like 15 tackles and a couple catches. But the game itself was disappointing...

Our next three non-conference games weren't the greatest either, we held with Madison for a half 8-0....but they blew us out the second half. and Against Perry and Riverside, we just couldn't get anything going up front!

Now for the cool stuff to talk about....alright....Geneva, we had this streak on our backs.....a 38 non-conference losing streak right!!!!!! we stand a 0-4. We played Lakeside, our big non-conference rivals...we have never beaten them. So how does the game start.....quickly they go up 14-0.......but we drive down the field and score the next possession. Then on the next defensive series, i tackle a kid on like the 20 and he fumbles, our linebacker picks it up and scores!!!! tied it up 14-14 Then right before halftime, they tried throwing a bomb.....and i intercepted it and came up 5 yards short of a touchdown! gave us a little momentum goin into the half........the rest of the game was a stalemate....we each scored again, then with 2:30 on the clock....we had a huge 4th down defensive stand.....and the offense drove it down and scored!!!!! so we were up a touchdown....then our defense held em to the end!!!! It was the biggest upset win in Ashtabula County...and the best and biggest game of my life!! it was great!!! The win boosted our season

We went on to win three in a row, and we played for a conference championship, but came up short in that game. Our record ended up 4-6 overall 3-1 in the conference. The record might not look great but its the best record we've had since 1998. It was a great turn-around for the program...

Individually i ended up with 4 interceptions, and 65 tackles on the year, not sure what i ended up getting offensively . I received 1st Team All County and Conference....and Honor Mention All District. I ended up getting MVP of our Team and received the Robert M Herpy Scholarship Award. so not a bad senior year.....ha

NOW COLLEGE i've about lost my mind....i've kinda got it narrowed down....Marietta, Waynesburg, and Westminster...there all D3 schools, i can get a sweet education and still play football. The visits, applications, coaches calling!!! little crazy!!! haha

well there ya have it, good to be back and i hope to here from you guys again!!! i missed you guys!!! haha :cry hahah
