    Hi,

My java cache was 1GB and I cleaned the cache out and changed its size to 100MG. The result has been that my computer is booting faster and web pages are down loading much faster. What is the smallest I can make my java cache without having problems?

Thank you for any guidance you can give me on this.

    Hello There,

You can actually turn off remember temporary internet files so that the computer don't keep them and it still works fine.

Thanks, Andy. I did not know that. I will give turning off the memory a try. Reducing the cache size from 1GB to 100Mg has really speeded up my computer. Just maybe reducing the cache size to 0 will speed it up even more.

    Again thanks.

Thank you very much for the link, Caliban. I understand now that cache size is important, so I will leave my current cache size as it is.

    Have a good Holiday season.
