java download problem

    Hello,

    I successfully removed the old java programs and attempted to install the latest version. While installing, I received an error message. It read "error 1330.A file that is required cannot be installed because the cabinet file C:\Documents and Settings\Owner\Application Data\Sun\Jave\...\Data1.cab has an invalid digital signature. This may indicate that the cabinet file is corrupt."

    I'm not sure what to do at this point. Please advise. I'll be happy to give you more information if needed.

    Are you having malware problems or are you just having problems with Sun Java. If just problems with Sun Java then I suggest that you post in the Software Forum for help with it.

    If you are having malware problems then you need to run the below from beginning to end and attach ALL of the requested logs. As stated in the instructions, DO NOT stop at any point if one step does not work. You must continue on to try running all steps.
