Java Error

Getting an error message only after logging into my msn email acct. and error shows up only when in the inbox.

What email program, how many emails are in your inbox, operating system, browser and version?

 

Sounds like a server side(email provider) error.
In the inbox only, probably means the error is somewhere in there javascript...(just a thought)

Internet explorer 6.0
MSN browser
XP-Pro OS
My Inbox contains 1% of 10 MB capacity with 5 new emails ( 2 of which are from this site).

Do you have a antivirus program? You should update to IE7, also do you have SP2 or 3 installed...

Try creating a new folder and moving the inbox mail to the new folder and see if you still get the error by sending yourself a test email.
(New Folder is under Manage Folders) in Hotmail.
(Right click the Account) in Windows Live Mail.

I'm still not clear on what mail program, does MSN Browser come with Windows Live Mail or are you connecting to Hotmail via the web?

Do you have a ad blocker on? If so turn it off and see if you still get the error.

Also, some have gotten rid of errors by switching to the full version if in hotmail via IE, it's under Options in Hotmail, but you need faster than a dial-up connection from what I see.
