java freeze

Dear experts,

First of all, I apologize for my English. If something seems a little confusing, please tell me, and I will try to make it clearer. I am from Montreal , quebec , canada and am french .....

My problem is every time i go to a page using java , its freeze and i have to reboot

I recently ''format'' my laptop and right after reformatting it was still freezing . So i eliminate the malware or virus possibility

It does the same thing either in 'chrome' that i am using or Ie that i also tried ....

I uninstall and reinstall everithing .... browser , java (all versions) ....rolleyes

Only thing am sure is that in safe mode with network it works find ... so is it an uncompability whit something ? a driver that interfere ?

I am really desesperate , can u help me please ?

p.s. it freeze normally in yahoo page where u have to typde the code to play cards ....

 

What do you actually use Java with; local programs, online programs?

Is it the Java RTE (JRE) or SDK?

What do you mean "all versions"? You only need one version (the latest Java 7u25), but you may need both 32-bit and 64-bit editions.

I mean i tried the JRE, the SDK , the latest Java 7u25 , the version 6 , 32 bits , 64 bits , those two togheter and separately ... all freeze

For online programs .... specially to be able to play

I am not an expert , but if we dont need java to read some pages or to be able to play ? why u have to download it when u go on certain site ? :confused

I cannot see the game that you mentioned on the link that you posted. Most games there are Flash Player based games.

The game i play is ''spades' an online game and if u dont have java u cant see the tables ...i am playing that site for over 12 years ...

and the difference of task manager in safe mode and in normal is hudge !

what exactly i have to do to find the one that is interfer and made me freeze ?

And its windows 7 and am using google chrome as a browser

I cannot stay on that page very long or i freeze. And whe i go true that page i freeze on the next one ...

 

I went to your link, and I was able to start the game. But then I have no idea what to do, so I cannot really test or reproduce your issue. Sorry!

Anyway, do you still have both JRE 6 and JRE 7 installed? You should have only one - the latest one - installed.

Am sorry but i still think that u2 can't go playing without java . First if u dont have it ,they give u the link so you download it ...you need it am positive . You cannot play without it .

Maybe you already have a java install on your machine ?

A couples years ago we only needed ''msjavx86'' but its not working anymore ...

I still have the jave 7 u25 installed to be able to play in safe mode untill i found waths wrong because in normal mode am still freezing

I did a print screen to shown you what is says when u dont have java ....

Its in french, but i translate on the screen shot what they say

I am really confused now ? When i was taking this screen shot i had to uninstall java. I did and came back to take the screen shot .... It freeze and i didnt even have java ?:confused

I do have JRE 7 installed, and I had enabled it to try that game. But I have no idea how to play it, so I can't test it. I even read all the Help, but it doesn't explain anything.
