Ok this may not seem like a big deal, but it's kind of annoying.

On many websites, let's say pogo.com to be specific, the ads on the page do not show up, instead there is just a plain grey box in place of them. I can not click on the box. This happens on several webpages I visit, but really only happens where ads should be displayed. I do not know of any games or other applets that fail to appear but it could be a possibility. I have checked several websites and none of the solutions seem to work.

I am using IE7 and running Windows XP.

Here is a screen shot to give you a better idea as to what I am talking about:

I've pretty much followed help pages to play around with internet options, such as java, active x, and flash settings, but none of that seemed to work, so I reinstalled flash and that didn't seem to work. So I have no clue what else to try.

Did you try reseting all of your internet options back to defaults?
