java question

    hi all, does anybody know why i have 3 different java things in my add/remove (j2se runtime environment 5.0 update 3, 5 and 6) and is it safe to remove 3 and 5,

    You have those old versions because you didn't uninstall them when you installed updates, and the Java installer doesn't overwrite your previous version, it just installs alongside it. Those extra Java versions are a huge waste of space, you should get rid of them.
