Java Sun Error Message

Murphy's Law: All of a sudden I started to get this error message. I am able to get to www.zone.com (bejewled) game, but not www.pogo (cubis). Did some surching but nothing. I went to Advanced tab in Internet Properties to check the JIT box, but there is not JIT box. I did check the Java box and restarted IE 6.0, nothing. Still doesn't work. Any Ideas????

I don't know much on troubleshooting JVMs, but have you tried reinstalling it?

 

Did you remove Microsoft JVM before you install Sun Java?? If not, then follow the instruction @How can I uninstall the Microsoft JVM from Windows XP?

 

FYI - I have had Java Sun installed for months now and it has worked just fine.

 

But that doesn't change the fact that it doesn't now.

I tried to do this but it said there was no java.inf to find and uninstall. Error screen.

My problem is that when I try to go to a chat room all there is is a blank screen with a box in the upper left hand corner. And this happens on all chat sites using applets.

Please help because I feel like an idiot trying to figure this out on my own.

 

Not trying to hijack this thread!! But does anyone know if there are special removal instructions for MSVJM in Win ME?

You do not have to uninstall anything just install this program and reboot. I have WIN XP Pro and now everything is perfect.
