   sun seem to say its update 7 yet the link here at majorgeeks says update 10
   
   which would be the correct version to install ?

   Version 6 update 7 is latest stable version from Sun and version 6 update 10 is the lastest beta version that MGs is currently offering for download. running the beta myself and its stable for me.
   
   But to answer your question, correct version to really install would be lastest current stable version for most folk as the beta is still in testing.
