    What is the difference between Java (SRE)6 u29 and Java (TM)7 u1?

    I installed both the 32 and 64 bit versions of Java 7 u1 and removed the old versions of Java (SRE)6 u28 which were installed and all seems to be working fine.
    Just wondered why the two versions were updated on the same day. :confused

    Development or not, it works. Wonder why they don't call it a Beta version?

    Never mind. I'll stick with it unless it plays up and then revert back to the v6 u29.
