i am using a pirated version of windows xp sp2....since last week my browser is not able to open few components of a web page(error shown javascript:void(null))...tried re installing java virtual machine and javscripts....but not useful...pse help

I down loaded Mozilla Fire Fox and the files of java script is opening in this browser.

why not in IE7.

Try this lot ( while the suggested error messages may not be same as yours, its by no means an exhausted list ) http://support.microsoft.com/kb/308260

Also if you have any popup blockers uninstall them to test if they are causing this.

Have you installed or updated any software just before this happend, if so what?

Is it just one webpage or many? a sample URL would be good as it may not be your issue but the sites.
