John Lennon was one of my heros. It's a shame he was murdered.

Asta la vista Tookie,"someone would have said it"whether he denies the murders or not the crips rule by violence and murder if he ran the gang for a week no doubt he would have ordered or carried out an execution of an opposing gang member

I watched the the Tookie biopic Redemption a week last friday, at the end I still thought you can be sorry all you want your still murdered people,I wonder if he would despise the life the lead so much if he knew he'd be released in a year or two,having the death sentence over your head I guess would make you wish you hadnt done a whole load of stuff

I know I wouldnt like my car to be parked on the streets of LA on tuesday though!

Had to get my two cents in. The girl I was dating at the time her birthday is
dec. 8th I'd just got home from her house after a little celebration. I can remember walking in the door and my mother asking if I heard the news today? Then she told me and my world was shattered John Lennon the man I most admire and wanted to be like was dead. The tears didn't stop for almost a week. I never spoke to that girl again and it changed me. I could no longer attempt anything musically without turning it to a Lennon song. So I stopped hearing the music. Every year I cry inside on that day. I guess i always will.
My thoughts, and prayers go out to Yoko, and Sean. Someone pointed out to me that john will live forever in the music of the Beatles and his own work.
