Joystick problem..

Hey, let me get right at it. I just updated my drivers on my game controller. I have the Saitek P2500 Rumble Force. So i went into control panel >> game controllers to test it out and make sure everything was working. The first thing i noticed was that in the Rudder/Throttle window (which represents my right analog stick) was pushed all the way left like i was holding it to the left. I could move up and down but i couldn't get it out of the left side (couldn't go right at all). I was wondering if this is meant to be like this, or if its a problem. If it is, any idea how to solve? Thanks in advance.

 

Hmm, well thats not right. Why exactly did you need to update the driver in the first place? Did you deffinately un-install the original driver before the new one was installed?

 

Well no specific reason, i just wanted the new drivers so i just found the cd that came with it and installed it. And i can see what you mean, because before installing it, there was simpler test (because it was outdated) and it seemed to have worked. Any suggestions?

 

Does this effect your gameplay?

 

i have a thrustmaster and I just use the default windows drivers and I've never had a problem with them

 

Well it does effect my game play. At first, on Madden 06 my right analog wouldn't work properly with the QB Vision (one of the games features) now that i installed it, it works fine, but it messed up on NHL 06, as holding the analog makes your player do tricks, and now all my players will do is tricks

PS: I would i go about removing these updated drivers...? I looked under add/remove and no drivers there..
