Jpegs in Wordpad

    I am trying to paste jpegs in Wordpad documents, but the pictures don't appear. I tried converting to bitmaps, but I only see "jpeg", no picture. What is wrong?

    Just open the pic to want to 'convert' in Irfanview and save as the file type you need. It supports them all...even PING with the additions you can d/l at thier website.

    How do I know that Wordpad will accept the type of file?

    Convert your JPEGS to Bitmap, then in Wordpad click Insert > Object > choose Create from File > Browse for your image > click Open and th eimage is inserted into Wordpad in which you can resize with the drag tabs.

    As to the "How do I know that Wordpad will accept the type of file?" question.... I have just tryed it with some Bitmap images and they inserted fine.

    You can save in JPEG if you open the image in PAINT, then EDIT, SELECT ALL, COPY, then PASTE into your wordpad document. If you want to save images from a website and you use Firefox, rightclidk and choose COPY IMAGE, then paste directly into your wordpad document. While many other programs (such as Irfanview) can do this easily, this is much simpler and uses tools that are already installed on windows--with the exception of Firefox, which OUGHT to be....
