   From searches I've done this is a java update. I have tried to disable java updates but this thing pops up about every other day on my windows 7. any tips on getting rid of this beside installing it?

   Install WinPatrol. This keeps an eye on things that want to run on startup and you can disable so you are in charge of your computer.

   I have never seen jucheck.exe running; the one that is usually running is jusched.exe, until it's disabled in JRE Preferences.
