I am getting at least 30 -40 junk emails a day. Is there some way to block this stuff? I am afraid that they are littered with viruses and God knows what. I tried replying to the unsubscribe links, but most of these don't even have that option and even then the more I remove, the more I get.:crybaby

The first big mistake you made was clicking to unsubscribe! All that did was verify that your email address is valid for the spammers and it probably got you added to a few hundred other spammer's lists. Never ever reply to spam mail in any form. Also never open show your email address in a forum (even like this forum). Also very careful who you give your email address to! Even sites you purchase things from online can get you added to spam lists. Use a free email account for things like that so you can avoid getting spam in your real email account.

You could try a few spam filter programs like the ones mentioned here: http://www.majorgeeks.com/downloads10.html

    I suggest starting with SPAMfighter

Personally I'm not a big fan of spam filters but you could try them and see what you think.
