Just 2 Lines...hjt

If someone could look at these 2 lines and tell me if they are keepers I would appreciate it. I've looked at the rest of the HJT log and recognize the other entries as "ok". I'm not sure what these 2 things are. BTW I'm running win98.
My objective is to "clean up" the files. I'm not having any spyware or virus problems...just house-keeping.

Hi Connie,

Most HJT/Spyware Forums have you remove those items as they are considered mild spyware.

Personally, I have always tended to leave them alone in my fixes - There are worse things out there! Plus, a lot of people never use this and, therefore, are not "spied" upon.

As far as I am concerned, it is a "Personal Preference" type of thing . . . .

Well...on the "last cleaning" note...
My XP crashed in a BIG way shortly after the clean. We don't know if it was the mother board or what, but now we're using the "kids computer", ...down to Windows 98! ARGH! But when we can afford it will just go to Sam's club and get the whole deal for about $350 ish.

Sorry to hear about your compy! - I haven't been around too much lately. Did you ever find what did it in?
I saw some of your old threads and it looks like you guys tried quite a few things to revive it. Sorry we could not be more help!

It was an e-machines. I've not heard anything good about them. Sam's club also has a "brand-name" computer, but we can't really afford a Dell or whoever is the good one these days.

I can't believe this "Global Win" has not crashed yet. In the beginning it crashed so many times that we reloaded win98 about 3 times. Now when I turn it off and reboot, I have to cold-boot about 4 times. First time it gets a "fatal exception error" then it hangs up after the choice of normal, safe mode etc." you get the picture. It's working though. I'm on-line..we'll see how long it will stay this way
