Just a bit sad...

I usually don't make threads about this sort of thing but I just want to ask that everyone keep in mind when they are praying Josh Rojas. On Tuesday at my brother's soccer practice he suddenly collapsed and died; he was 10 years old. They still have no idea what happened and there was no reason what so ever for it to happen.

Just to think that this could happen to someone completely random and someone so young is devasting even to think about. Like I said, I'm usually not the one to go nuts and sob over these types of unfortunate things but this just made my stomach hurt. This definitely hit our town hard.

Our soccer team has already been making plans for a car wash or some sort of charity fun raiser and once we find out how this happened (they believe it was most likely some sort of heart failure), we will be donating to a charity that fights to cure what happened him.

 

How terribly sad and tragic. Imagine being the one to perform CPR on your own son too?

I am so proud of the family for donating some of his organs! One of my best friends is waiting for a lung transplant (she has cystic fibrosis and is 42 years old!)

 

Just from reading the article you can tell the boy was very special and that he had good thoughts.

 

Very sad Neo. You know the Sheriff's Office should help with fund raising efforts also, they are usually very good about these things.

I would be devestated (sp?) if that happened to my daughter.

 

I couldn't imagine having to go through something like that. My heart goes out to his family.

 

That's really tragic and shocking. My thoughts are with the family.
