Just a Quick Internet Download Speed Question

Hello people

Earlier on today I reformatted my hard drive and reinstalled windows (and most of my required software) and my computer seems to be working fine now, and I managed to reconnect to my previous wireless home network (from which I connect to the internet, via another PC).
Just a small problem, I have noticed my download speeds have dramatically decreased (from about 60-100kbps down to under 10kbps), I havent noticed much of a difference when I load web pages though (perhaps a slight slowdown).
I quickly browsed through the forum to see if I could find an answer, but to be honest...I dont have the foggiest of ideas what is wrong in the first place, so I figured it would be best to ask in a new thread.

Thanks in advance, and if more info is needed (like system spec etc) I can supply it.

*note, it may just be because I have just reinstalled, and perhaps it will act normally tommorow once it adjusts or something (if it works like that!! I wish it did!), I did think it may be a problem with my LAN, but I think the problem is from since I formatted.

 

Might be that the TCP/IP Stack needs to be Optimized.
