Just bought new computer...most downloads are corrupt

    So I have gone through a few threads going through possible solutions but I am still not able to fix. I just bought a new HP p6610f computer. Most of my downloads come up corrupt(when extracting rar files, or larger downloads). The small downloads(under 5mb or so) work fine. I have tried multiple browsers....multiple download managers...and I have also ran memtest which brought no errors. My torrent files were not corrupted. I have also ran the tests from pingtest.net, which brought up 0% packet loss. Anyone have any other suggestions? Much appreciated.

    Hi

    What Windows version and if not Windows 7 what Service Pack is your Windows at?

    What is the security app/apps you have installed, please name all of them? but to see if any of them are causing the issue, which can happen disable them and/or boot into Safe Mode (F8 at boot and choose Safe Mode with Networking) and try a download again.
