OK, I run advanced system care 3(free), RegCure, Reg Scrub, CCleaner and AusLogistics Disk Defrag everyday. I also have ZoneAlarm and AVG(free) that runs in down time. I have AdAwareSE and SpywareBlaster and a2(squared) that I run maybe once a month...
so the question is: what do I NEED and what should I remove?
I have been having trouble with Adobe Flash player remaining working for very long after I install it (just about everyday) and all I can guess is some of this overkill may be interfering with the active x or something that keeps it in working order.

    Help, please!!!

    Hello there :)

What you are asking is really more topic for the software forum.

But personally I would ditch Regcure, Regscrub, AdawareSE and A squared.

Those kind of registry "repair" softwares have a habit of being a little too over ambitious and can cause more damage than good. I personally only use Ccleaner as my registry cleaner. I used to use Wise Registry cleaner but I don't anymore.

Adaware is not IMO very good, it focusses in on cookies more than anything else, plus I believe the version you are using is way out of date. A Squared isn't so good nowadays either.

My advice would be for you to use Malware Bytes and SUPERantispyware instead. Use Ccleaner for the registry clean up. Any further questions you have regarding this feel free to drop by into the software forum.

    Thanks
    Kes
